I think it's time for a new Secretary of State. Governmental bodies all over Oregon are stepping over the line when it comes to campaign finance laws, and we saw it again with Measures 66 & 67. It's time that Kate Brown starts doing her job, or she should be exposed for not upholding the integrity of our votes.

Obama: World's Most Tasteless Joke

Posted in

Frankly, I'm stunned. How cold and thoughtless do you have to be to make a joke out of someone's death? But he did. He really did. Sheesh, what an ego he must have, to have so little room for consideration for this woman's family.

Can you say, "No Kidding"?

Every day more evidence emerges that the entire Anthropogenic Global Warming theory is nothing more than an elaborate and determined hoax, perpetrated by like-minded groups -- in government, grant-hungry research facilities, and Luddite/Malthusean "environmental" organizations -- around the world, each reinforcing and amplifying what the other has said. Thankfully, the public is paying attention.

Judge Moore: A New Bill of Particulars

Posted in

You will remember Judge Roy Moore from his battle to display a monument to the Ten Commandments in the Alabama Supreme Court building. He lost that battle, and a subsequent run for governor of Alabama, but he has announced that he will run again this year. He spoke in Nashville on February 5th, to a Tea Party assembly, and rallied the crowd to several standing ovations.

November, 2010

This video is an open declaration of betrayal: the betrayal Obama perpetrated on those who supported him, as he claimed post-partisan, transparent government, healing the rifts, slowing the rise of the oceans, and putting America back on track. Now, after trillions of dollars have been wasted, after millions more Americans are out of work in spite of his promises, after many bitter, partisan fights in Congress, after our allies around the world have become disenchanted, after our enemies have become bolder and less respectful, after multiple episodes of secrecy instead of transparency... enough is enough.

Remember, this video was produced from the perspective of a betrayed supporter.

Massachusetts Miracle

Democrats far outnumber Republicans there. Rarely has a statewide office been held by a Republican. Then came Obama, with policies so destructive that people who supported him are abandoning him in droves. And they are voting Republican. An amazing day in the state that brought us the Boston Tea Party.

Rep. Schaufler, We Knew That!

Posted in

From Steve Buckstein of Cascade Policy Institute, posted on OregonCatalyst:

In this short clip from Wednesday's House Committee on Business and Labor hearing, Rep. Michael Schaufler, D-Happy Valley, made an emotional off-the-cuff statement about how jobs are being killed in this state and how we have “no one left to tax.” He was the only Democrat to vote against the tax bills that were later referred to voters as Measures 66 and 67.

Later that afternoon, Schaufler apologized to the House for making this speech while in committee, calling it out of order. On the contrary, perhaps some of his colleagues owe the people of Oregon an apology for not admitting that what he said is all too true.

Obama: Just Like Lincoln?

I'm sure most of us read the so called comparison of Lincoln and Kennedy, but did you ever consider the relationship between Obama and Lincoln ..... You might be surprised.

Obama Overload

Posted in

Remember that famous "RESET" button that Hillary gave the Russians after Obama was elected? Remember what the correct translation of the Russian word the State Department used on the button legend? Yup, "OVERLOAD". The same thing we are getting from the White House: an overload of government, an overload of costs, an overload of empty, soon broken, promises, and an overload of ego from the Amatuer in Chief elected by those imagining a different world than the real one.

Obama: Gunning-Down-Prosperity Budget

Posted in

A man who doesn't understand anything about how to build prosperity, imagines instead how to tear down the structure that does build it. Mr. President, all taxes tax the poor, and when you try to gain favor by destroying the incentives for wealth creation, the rich may write the checks, but the poor will always pay the price. And the checks they write are lost jobs, lost homes, lower buying power, and lost hopes and dreams.
