Dear Mr. Caldwell:

Wall Street Smoke

Since when does "no more bailouts" for Wall Street equal a $50 permanent Wall Street bailout fund? Since Obama reads it off a teleprompter. Dang, how long does he think he can keep this charade going?

Such corruption!

Do the Clackamas County commissioners sit up at night wondering how to push the voters around, corrupting the election process? Well, yeah, we knew that, didn't we?

I've heard some folks complain that we need more balance on the commission. I don't agree. I want ALL the Democrats removed, replaced by solid conservative commissioners.

Here's the article from KOIN; read the original post here.

Great Idea from Dave Hunnicutt at Oregonians In Action

By the time statehood came to the West coast, the federal government had gotten pretty good at extortion, demanding a large percentage of land be ceded to the federal government as a price for granting statehood. Evidence? Look at the percentage of federal land from East to West. Oregon is under federal control. Well, the worm turns. Can you imagine the possibilities if we get some of that back?

2010 Primary Candidates

Time to vote! Support our Republican candidates on May 18th!

On The Right Track ?

How do you know when you're on the right track?  I praised Michelle Rhee, Washington, D.C. schools Chancellor, in a previous entry.  Check out these excerpts from a diatribe against her at the website "SocialistWorker.org" written by Brian Tierney (Note: here's the link for the entire article http://socialistworker.org/2010/04/22/lies-to-attack-dc-teachers):

Responding to Oregonian op-ed "Let My Tax Cut Expire"

In the April 17th, 2010, Oregonian, Kenneth Lewis wrote an op-ed commentary titled "Let My Tax Cut Expire". This is my response to that op-ed, sent to the editors of the paper:

To the editor:

"Hope & Change from D.C. -- from Michelle Rhee"

From Reason Magazine, as reported on their Reason Foundation website, www.reason.org. Michelle Rhee is the Chancellor of the Washington, DC school system; can we rent her for awhile?

Mr. Dudley Visits the Executive Club

Gubernatorial candidate Chris Dudley spoke at the Executive Club last Wednesday night.  As usual, lots of conservative activists were there; specific issues were addressed during the Q & A after Mr. Dudley’s presentation.

The club was curious about Mr. Dudley’s conservative bona fides on taxes, environmental/land use positions, PERS, the differentiators separating Mr. Dudley from the other GOP candidates -- and one very important issue near and dear to our collective hearts.

Support the Republican candidates for Clackamas County Commissioner

While a lot of the political focus has been on the health care fiasco in Washington and the extortion of our tax dollars with M66/67 in Oregon, there are a couple of local races that need to grab our attention. We have a chance to get some fiscal responsibility back into Clackamas County by replacing the crew of Democrats now running our County with some conservative Republicans. The candidates for Clackamas County Commissioner will be facing off at a forum in Eagle Creek this Thursday, Aprill 8. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
