Thank you to all the Clackamas County PCP’s! Tuesday’s results were grim, but Kurt Schrader and other representatives of this County need to take notice. Clackamas County stands out strongly for fiscal responsibility. Of the big three metro counties, according to Oregon State Elections Clackamas was the lone M66 & 67 No vote by 51% to new taxes and a fat budget. Multnomah said Yes by 71% and Washington by 53%. There still may be some hope for Washington County. Wait till all those businesses in Wash. Cty get their "retroactive" tax bill in April! They may be singing a different tune come November.
Portland Tribune, Jan. 27 "Voters say ‘yes’ to tax increase measures. Clackamas County voters rejected both measures, 50 percent to 49 percent."
